  6. If you have to create documents for study you have to use TeX because
  7.  a) only this package allows you to include formulas and tables
  8.     into your document in a professional manner and
  9.  b) TeX is a standard, you can write your text at home and
  10.     print it out everywhere.

  12. But if you want to include any bitmap-graphics you will get problems
  13. because the needed \special-commands are *not* platform-independent.
  14.  
  15. Here  comes iff2eps in: It converts your IFF-bitmap into an EPSF-file
  16. which can be included into TeX-documents using dvips in a platform-
  17. independent manner.
  18. So you can translate and print out your document under AmigaDOS,
  19. UNIX, LINUX, DOS,... keeping all graphics.
